Why I Started Photographing Creatives (And Why I’m Hooked)

Why I Started Photographing Creatives

When I first picked up my camera, I never thought I’d end up photographing another photographer at work. But after being hired to capture a photographer on the job (and sneaking in a few headshots while we were at it), something clicked.

Capturing the Real Energy

It’s not just about taking "nice" pictures. It’s about catching people in their element, doing what they love, and showing the energy behind that moment. Watching someone light up while they work and then capturing that in an image - there’s genuinely nothing quite like it.

Learning As I Go

I’m still new to this side of photography, and honestly, that’s part of the fun. Each shoot feels like a collaboration. I’m learning what works, what feels authentic, and how to make people comfortable in front of the camera.

Photos That Show the Person Behind the Work

If you’re a creative and you’ve ever thought, "I wish someone could capture me doing my thing", that’s exactly what I love to do. Authentic, behind-the-scenes photos that show your personality, your process, and the passion behind your work.

Let’s Tell Your Story

I’m building this little corner of my business as I go, and it’s genuinely exciting to see where it’s heading. Every shoot so far has shown me something new - a different skill, a new perspective, another creative person doing what they love.

You already pour so much of yourself into your work. But often, your audience only sees the finished product - not the passion, process and personality behind it.

Whether you’re in a studio, at a desk, or on the move, these images help your audience connect with you on a human level - building trust, excitement and familiarity long before they hit "book" or "buy."

If you’re ready to show the world who you are as well as what you do, I’d love to help you capture it in a way that feels natural, authentic and unmistakably you.
