WAX MELT CARE & SAFETY

Following these instuctions will ensure you get the best out of our wax malts.
Remove a cube of wax from the packaging and place this into the well of your warmer, this can be a tea-light warmer or an electric warmer. Do not add any water or oils.
Use only a two or four hour un-scented tea-light when using a tea-light warmer. Anything bigger than this is too large and will burn far too hot.
Using a larger tea-light can result in burnt/dried out wax, or a burnt/cracked burner, which is a fire hazard. We recommend you also check the packaging of your tea-lights and wax warmers for the manufacturers instructions, as these may differ slightly.
Dont use wax melts in an oil warmer. Ensure its intended use is for wax melts. The gap between the tea-light and the well or plate on an oil warmer is too small and will burn too hot. Again, this can result in burnt/dried out wax, or a burnt/cracked warmer, which is a fire hazard. A good rule of thumb is to have a gap of 10cm or more, between the tea-light and the well or plate.
To clean the well or plate of your warmer, simply allow the wax to begin melting (about thirty minutes will do) and it should just slide right out. Another option is to allow the wax to fully melt and use a cotton wool ball or two to soak up the wax. The former is less wasteful. Dispose of this in your household waste.
Always burn your tea-light warmer within sight, on a level, heat resistant surface and never pick this up whilst lit. Keep your warmer away from drafts, vibrations and anything that could catch fire.
Keep out of reach of children and pets.
