Hi, I’m Claire
I’m a photographer and copywriter offering calm creative support for lovely businesses, across Edinburgh, Fife and beyond.
I help creatives, founders and small businesses with the photos, words and little creative bits that make their brand feel easier to show off.
That might be natural brand photography, relaxed headshots, words for your website, a bit of content support, or helping pull together the bits that have been sitting on your to-do list for far too long.
Basically, I’m here to make things feel a little clearer, a little calmer and a little more you.
A wee note on the name
Calmé is pronounced calm.
That was always the feeling I wanted this business to have. Calm, considered and not overwhelming.
I had already decided on Calm, then the French spelling came to me while I was in Paris and it just felt right.
A softer version of calm.
A little more thoughtful.
A little more creative.
A little more me.
And that’s really what Calmé is here for. Helping you feel calmer about showing up in your business, with the images, words and creative support that make your brand easier to share.

I know how easy it is to put your own brand to the bottom of the list.

You know your brand needs a little tidy-up, but finding the time and headspace is another thing altogether.
That’s where I come in.

How I got here
My background is in marketing, communications and relationship-led business support, so I’ve always been drawn to the people behind the brand.
I love getting to know the people behind a business, then helping bring that personality out through natural images, warmer words and thoughtful creative details.
Through Calmé Marketing, I get to bring together the bits I love most: photography, copywriting, storytelling, connection and helping people feel a little more confident showing up.
Whether I’m behind the camera, writing website copy or helping shape the creative direction of a brand, my approach is always the same: calm, collaborative and human.

Working with me should feel easy.
I’ll help you figure out what you actually need, whether that’s a full brand shoot, a few natural headshots, a refresh of your website words or ongoing creative support.
You don’t need to have everything perfectly planned before you get in touch. We can talk it through together and work out what would be most useful.
