COPYWRITING TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Bookings are confirmed once we’ve agreed on the scope of work and availability has been confirmed.

An invoice will be issued for the agreed work, with payment terms stated on the invoice. Payment is usually due upon receipt unless otherwise agreed.

Work will be delivered once payment has been received in full.

Pricing

All prices are quoted in GBP (£).

Fees reflect the time spent writing, researching, and editing content, as well as any agreed revisions. If additional work or revisions are required beyond what was originally agreed, I’ll always discuss this with you first.

Use of Copy

Once payment is received, you’re free to use the content for the purposes we’ve agreed, including:

• Websites and blogs
• Social media posts
• Marketing and promotional materials
• Press or editorial use

If you want to use the content for anything outside of the original scope, just get in touch and we can discuss it.

Copyright

I retain copyright of all copy I create. This means you have permission to use it for the agreed purposes, while ownership of the words remains with me.

I may also use examples of the work for my portfolio, website, or social media unless we’ve agreed otherwise.

Revisions & Alterations

Unless otherwise agreed, all content is delivered in my style and voice to ensure it’s consistent and professional.

You are welcome to make small edits or adjust formatting for your platform, but substantial rewrites, republishing elsewhere, or resale of the copy isn’t permitted without prior agreement.

Tone of Voice & Brand Guidelines

If we're working with an existing brand, you can provide guidance, style guides, or examples to help me write in your tone of voice.

I’ll do my best to match the style, but the final content will reflect my professional approach to ensure it’s clear, engaging, and effective.

Cancellations & Changes

I understand that plans change. If you need to pause, reschedule, or amend the project, please let me know as soon as possible and I’ll do my best to accommodate.

Liability

I strive to provide high-quality work and maintain backups, but I cannot be held responsible for circumstances outside my control, including technical issues, platform errors, or third-party changes.

Privacy

Any personal or business information shared will be treated with care and never shared with third parties unless required by law.
