PHOTOGRAPHY TERMS & CONDITIONS
I like to keep things clear and straightforward so that everything runs smoothly for both of us.
Booking & Payment
Bookings are confirmed once we’ve agreed the details of the shoot and availability has been confirmed.
An invoice will be issued for the agreed work, with payment terms stated on the invoice. In most cases, payment is due upon receipt unless otherwise agreed.
Final high-resolution images will be supplied once payment has been received.
Pricing
All prices are quoted in GBP (£).
The fee reflects the time spent photographing, any editing required, and preparing your images. If additional services or time are required beyond what was originally agreed, this will always be discussed with you first.
Image Use
Once payment has been received in full, you’re welcome to use the images for purpose such as:
- Marketing and promotional materials
- Websites
- Social media
- Press or editorial use
If you’d like to use the images for something outside of the original scope, just get in touch and we can chat about it.
Copyright
In line with UK copyright law, the photographer retains copyright of all images.
This means you receive permission to use the images for your agreed purposes, while ownership of the photographs remains with the photographer.
I may also use selected images for my portfolio, website, or social media to showcase my work unless we’ve agreed otherwise.
Editing & Alterations
As editing is subjective, final images are edited and delivered in my own style, using my professional judgement to ensure a consistent and professional finish. By booking, the client acknowledges that they are hiring me for that style and approach.
Cropping images for layout or marketing purposes is absolutely fine, however applying filters or significantly altering the images isn’t permitted without prior agreement.
Cancellations & Changes
I understand that plans can change. If you need to reschedule a shoot, please let me know as soon as possible and I’ll always do my best to accommodate a new date where availability allows.
Liability
Every effort is made to provide high-quality images and maintain backup systems. However, I cannot be held responsible for circumstances outside of my control such as severe weather, venue restrictions, or unexpected technical issues.
Privacy
Any personal or business information shared will be treated with care and will never be shared with third parties unless required by law.
